purple

this is my tag for purple

I continued with the spring flowers theme

and used quite a few different purple wild flowers

and seedheads that I pressed

I also wanted to incorporate the lilac fairy somewhere

as I adore the scent of lilac in late spring / May time

the text reads "the cottage garden has a lilac tree"

and behind an honesty seed pod I printed

"the song of the lilac fairy"

white May is flowering

red May beside

laburnum is showing

gold far and wide

but I sing of lilac

the dearly loved lilac

lilac, in Maytime

a joy and a pride

I love her so much

that I never can tell

if she's sweeter to look at

or sweeter to smell
