Poetry

I have been looking at superstitions relating to birds the last two weeks.

The poem 'Auguries of Innocence' by William Blake, contains the quote I have used on my tag.
'A Robin Redbreast in a cage
Puts all of Heaven in a rage'
To create my angry sky, I sprayed the tag with Brusho in Prussian Blue and purple before sprinkling on dishwasher salt. The cage and bird was cut on my Big Shot using a Tim Holtz die. Velum tags stamped and brads for embellishments.

  9. I've always loved William Blake--your tag is awesome--curious to know what "dishwasher salt" is, though?

  10. I really love this tag - and of course, Blake's poem. I am also reminded of the story of the Chinese emperor and the nightingale he tried to cage. It's a story of my childhood.
