Funfair

Firstly I want to say that I LOVE what Carolyn has done with the banner & background this week! I think it's gorgeous and so much fun. I marvel at her imagination.
btw - how clever is that girl riding the horse!?! ;o)

Now - onto my submission - When I think of Funfairs, one of the first things I think of are Coconut Shy's. Is it just me, or are  they just 'not around' anymore? I've not seen one for many a year.
I used to love having a go at knocking one down, and then if I  won one, getting it home, opening it with a hammer, (usually the biggest I could find), and then taking days to eat it.
Mmm, yummy yum! Can't beat fresh coconut, (never did like the milk tho').

For those that don't know what a Coconut Shy is, you could check out this site

Of course, they were a 'novelty' - they weren't something readily available in the shops in the 60's.
And I remember, always wondering where they came from.......?

Here is my tag for this week

Nothing complicated here; 3D'd the coconuts on the tree and added some glitter glue to the leaves. Everything else is as you see it.
It was only whilst I was taking the photo, I realised how Christmassy it looks, lol.

Thank you all for your lovely comments last week. It means a lot to me that you say you like what I do and you are always so encouraging. Thank you *hug*

Now, I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful work you all create this week :0) xx
