Autumn fruits and berries

Here's my tag for autumn fruits and berries - as you can see they've been turned into a pot of delicious jam! I was inspired by Wilma giving herself the extra challenge of stitching all the tags this month, so I decided to make my jar of jam from felt. I used cotton for the label, the lettering is done with a sharpie marker, and it's running stitched in place. I blanket stitched the edges, then stuffed the jar with a little wadding. Finally I added the traditional gingham lid cover, with a white cord tie. (The cord actually came from my old ironing board cover!) All it needs now are some scones fresh out the over, or a couple of pieces of lovely fresh crusty white bread!
