Circus

Of course, the first thing I thought of was the big top. I tried a new technique, painting with alcohol ink on Yupo paper (a synthethic watercolor paper). The there is " Be the ringmaster of your own circus" and if you look carefully, I am the ringmaster, having transposed my face on the drawing of the ringmaster. Wand what is the circus without an elephant, a clown, an acrobat and a tiger? I can't say that I am crazy about the piece.
The second thing that  think of is the carousel with its magnificent horses. I was fortunate enough to see a carousel horse being made once and recreated it for you. The tag is three tiered. The first picture is simply the raw, sanded wooden blocks of the upper part of the horse. The second tag is of the horse as its carvings are rough cut into it and the third is a completed horse. The rough cut and the completed horse are on vellum so that when overlaid, you can get the full effect.

Sorry I was so late, my ISP was having glitches all week long!
