Rust

I knew when I took this picture back in 2003 that it would come in handy for something,
an old rusty anchor that was sitting on the harbour at Heraklion Fort Crete
For my tag I cropped and transferred the image to fabric.
I added this to another background fabric and stitched around it
then added on a large rusty nail with fabric loops and more stitching.
the finished tag.
Posting this from a rainy camp site in Dunbar, I stitched this little tag while watching the 'pitter patter rain drops' on the caravan window, waiting for the sun to start shining again...fingers crossed x

  21. How wonderful to be inside creating when the weather is wet and horrid outside. I love the nail embellishment which will no doubt add more rust to your tag in time!
