Keeping warm!

Here's my tag for this week's theme. The one time I really need to keep warm is when I go to watch a football match. So here I am, in cartoon form, all wrapped up! I'm wearing thick socks, my winter coat and knitted poncho, and my Brighton and Hove Albion scarf and hat. I've got my programme to read and a cup of tea, which helps to keep the heat levels up. I added a ribbon in the style of a scarf, complete with blue and white stripes. I photographed my tag on the football report page from our local paper.
As I went to a match last night, which we won 2-0 ( apologies to any Bristol City supporters!) I got Adrian to take a photo of me in my footie gear! It was VERY cold, and I really appreciated my post match cup of tea.

  4. I love your tag - we used to live 25 miles from Brighton and now we live 30 miles from Bristol - it's still Brighton for us though. ;-)

  9. Great tag Jo. Love your little drawing! I haven't been to a match in a while but I do know how cold you get after 90 mins if you're not wrapped up well!! Carolyn x

  10. Me again Jo, just to say in answer to you query, the mitten pattern is from a book called Mini Christmas knits by Sue Stafford, found on Amazon for under a fiver. There is a lovely robin and snowman among other delights and they take no time to knit! x
