Keeping Warm

Helloooo lovely people!! :-D
First off, thank you all very much for your amazing comments about my musical tag. This week has been pretty amazing personally too, with the safe arrival of our new grandson, Jack. As named by Redanne 'Little (big) Jack', due to his weighing a whopping 10lb 7oz! Haha. Mother and baby doing very well and thankfully managing to 'keep warm' despite the awful wet weather currently besieging  the UK.
Our Tag theme this week is Keeping Warm, so I made a fire, (weak link I know - but it works, haha).
Well not a real fire obviously, but the dabbing of excess paint from my paintbrushes onto scrap paper over a few days resulted in a 'blot' that looked like fire to me. So with a little addition of some Icicle Stickles (ironic that isn't it) and some strategic scissor snipping I 'made' my fire. I edged it with some Black Soot DI and used some of Carolyns gorgeous yarn for the tie. The yarn is available here http://www.etsy.com/shop/CAROLYNSAXBYTEXTILES

Thank you for looking and have a super duper week :-)) Hugs, Mo x
