Winter Landscapes

Hi everyone. I wonder if we will have any snow this winter in the UK? I do love it when it snows, before it gets muddy and slushy and am so glad I live in a country that has seasons! This week will be a lovely way to celebrate winter, I can't wait to visit your lovely tags. I decided to unearth a stamp I have owned for years and do some gentle water-colouring for a change.

I finished it off by framing it with some dark blue card and used Tim Holtz winter die cuts in the corner. If you squint closely you can see it's still snowing. So by the way is Molly, one of my cats as she got too near when I was trying to spray the paint!
Lovely lovely winter warmers last week, I shall enjoy your frosty offerings I know!
Love to all x

  8. Beautiful work, and the die cuts are a perfect finishing touch ... and BTW we had snow in Norfolk last Saturday (only for an hour and it didn't settle, but very pretty while it lasted )

  9. Just as I imagine winter in the northern hemisphere... I love the image, especially the little children carrying candles along the path. Beautifully complemented by the holly.
