Letter A

Hello Again everyone - I have a weird feeling of deja-vu - as if I were here only a few hours ago.....lol
Well this tag is like nothing I've done before and that's mainly thanks to Santa, and the gift of a mini sewing machine. Well actually - Santa brought the gift voucher and I chose the machine myself ;-)
It was soooo much fun wandering around and around the craft shop knowing that I could get stuff without spending actual pennies, hehehe.
So..... I used bits from my stash that had actually been gifted to me by, Lynn, Yvonne, & Susan, so thank you to them first of all.........I sewed the word ART onto that gorgeous coloured material, (sorry it's not very clear), and then sewed the small polka dot piece on as a pocket. I part glued the wee piece of tape measure ribbon on, added a floral button and then sewed it all onto some card that I had edged with Spiced Marmalade DI. Into the pocket I added a wee tag that I had embellished with some stick on gems and had used rub-on letters spelling ART onto the back of that too (forgot to photograph that bit). And apart from forgetting to add a tie...... c'est tout.

I really enjoyed making this. So different working with material instead of paper and inks. I'm hoping to do more mixed media things this year. There is so much wonderful inspiration around, one can't help but be.......well...... inspired, to have a go.
Off to see what you al have created for the letter 'A' and start thinking about 'B' for next week. Have a lovely, happy week won't you? ttfn, Mo x
