G is for goose

Kiss and Hold Hands
As I continue to work with altered rolodex cards for my art wheel, I experiment with all sorts of ideas and techniques and materials. Lately I've been having fun with gel image transfers. This card/tag starts with papers glued to the card stock, and a stamped image, and then two different layers of gel transfers applied separately. The whole is rubbed with cold wax at the end, and that is when the red stamped heart shapes began to smear. I stopped handling it at that point.
I thought of goose right away for the letter G and when I searched around here I could not find any. Nothing in National Geographic magazine, nothing in my clipping file, or in my clip art books...so I gave up and was just messing around. When I went through a stack of papers I'd received in a paper swap last month, I discovered a hand written letter in an alphabet/language that I know not. There was two chicken scratch drawings of geese. In one image they were kissing and the other holding hands. I knew that I had my geese.
Thanks for looking today, and I look forward to viewing your work now, *hugs* Norma, x
