N is for Nice to be back!

Hello again everyone!    I’ve missed you and all your beautiful tags this past few weeks, but it’s great to be back, thank you for keeping my seat warm!
It’s been hard to get back in the swing of tagging again after some family party-planning and celebrating, but I hope to get up to date in a couple of weeks!

For this week’s N tag I have used Nibs for my Calligraphy Abecedary.
I  used various Nibs and different styles of writing to illustrate just some of the nibs available, no room for any more!  On the left side of the tag I used my new ‘Just a Note’ stamp with the pen nib which was just perfect for this theme. I edged the tag with tea stain ink and added a brown tie to match some of the nibs.  None of the nibs are stuck in place, I use them too much.

For last week’s M theme I wanted to make 2 tags,
The first M is for Masking fluid.
I used masking fluid to write on a tag, and then applied a wash of green and blue watercolour. I rubbed off the masking fluid off this tag but made a smaller tag with just the word ‘Mask’  and  left it with the yellow masking fluid as ‘work in progress’.

My next M  is for Morning Glory.
This tag is a small copy of a piece of work where the petals and leaves are composed of the words morning glory –  written about 130 times!  Here is  my original piece as a whole to wish you ‘All the Joys of Spring’.

Can’t wait to see all the tags I‘ve missed!  But it might take a while.
Bye for now
Love Jane xx
