Q is for.....

The dreaded Q! No oils or carrier oils or latin names I could find so I decided to go with Quality. If you are buying essential oils for theraputic use it is imperative that they are 100% pure as a lot of cheap ones are inferior in quality or are adulturated oils and have been mixed with dubious substances! The Aromatherapy Trade Council is the UK's regulatory council for the Essential Oil Trade and it is recommended that if you want a good oil you buy from an ATC member. If you consider what has to be taken into consideration, like crop yields, where the plant is grown in the world (ie not next to a chemical factory!) then it is worth buying good quality. I struggled to make an artistic tag to go with this and this is what I came up with.

002

I found some paper with little rosettes in the background and edged it with aged mahogany. Then I die cut a Tim Holtz rosette in deep pink and made a hanging ribbon. The metal Q fitted perfectly next to a downloaded certificate and I then painted a die cut star, made a little label for the wee bottle and painted a flourish silver. I'm not happy with this as a tag made, but I hope you agree it fits with my theme. Next thing to worry about is U, X and Z - ugh! Hope I can hang in there, love to you all. x
