S is for .......

Sunflower

in Satin stitch (petals and leaf)
Stem stitch (stem)
and Shisha stitch (holding the mirror in place)
a little Straight stitch all around the edge to finish.

Thank you everyone who left lovely comments on my ring tag.
Here in Fife there is a little glimpse of sunshine today, but it's still very cold :(

  3. *Snap* on the cold Yvonne. We're fairing no better further north, but all the better to stay indoors keeping busy. Your Sunflower tag is gorgeous, the background, the multi-coloured leaf and I love the use of the mirror. All fabulous. As usual :0) Mo x

  4. Cold here too Yvonne - in fact after quite a nice day it is now tipping it down outside. I am always amazed by how neatly you stitch. The close up photos highlight your skill perfectly. Another beauty Yvonne.

  8. Just beautiful! I love the varicolour satin stitch on the leaf. I am sitting in my little craft room looking out at a field in which the sunflowers have just germinated - rows of little green leaves popping out of the soil! Carolyn xx
