Fish

Hi everyone. I know I'm a trifle late but I have a good excuse - I was on holiday in the French Alps and saw a brief glimpse of the Tour de France! I had to climb a mountain (I kid you not, I have the blisters to prove it!) and the boys went through in a flash, but I saw CHRIS, wasn't he a marvel? and was on telly three times! We were just on the bend that the camera caught so that was exciting. Enough of this, in by the skin of my teeth with my fish tag.

I embellished a piece of blue felt with dyed scrim, lavender lace, chiffon and silver ribbon. Then I added sequins and beads, some precious fish beads that I have been hoarding, a lovely cloisonne bead of a fish, a little starfish and a seahorse button and finished it off with some floaty wool at the top. the quote is from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

I'm really sorry I haven't commented on everyones lovely tags, hope you will forgive me this week, I still have all the washing and sorting to do before work again!
All your work is very varied and beautiful. xx
