Complementary Colors, a Wedding and a Trip

I'm playing a bit of catch up here,  I have 3 tags finally done.  I had to get out one of my art books to refresh my mind about complementary colors.  This tag is actually more orange in real life, I was going for the orange-blue combination.  I love dragonflies, and late in the summer the field near my house has hundreds flying around for a few days.  I'm hoping I can take a few photos with my new macro lens.

A simple wedding tag with one of my favorite stamps.  I added some Twinkling H2O's to give the flowers a little depth and shimmer.

This travel tag was almost ready to go during travel week, but got put aside, so I finally finished it off today with the rest.  That's a Tim Holtz blueprint stamp, I've made many cards with that one!  Look forward to visiting everyone and seeing their complementary colors.  I've got to get going on the next theme, this time I am going to keep up!

  2. Great tags, but the dragon fly tag is my favorite. It is PERFECT! I love the motion you captured with the positioning of the dragonflies, the colors are gorgeous, and the font and the sun in the background finish it off wonderfully!

Your tags are terrific. The paring of sentiment and image on the travel one I particularly admire.
