Complementary Colours

Hi Everyone - I panicked again this week when I saw that Tuesdy had arrived & I had no idea what to do for my tag *eek* even tho' I knew what colours I wanted to use, but that was all. I decided to go with a possible recurring theme - Buses/transport. And like my first one, this has been 'nabbed' by my wee man.
The red card is stamped with text and then I decorated it with 'arrows' from a home made stencil. The large bus is cut from some green card printed with a pattern created by Lyn, aka Spyder http://spyder-spyderscorner.blogspot.co.uk/ The dictionary definition says complementary color
noun 1.Art.a. one of a pair of primary or secondary colors opposed to the other member of the pair on aschematic chart or scale (color wheel) as green opposed to red, orange opposed to blue, orviolet opposed to yellow.
b.the relationship of these pairs of colors perceived as completing or enhancing each other
The camper van/mini bus is a stamp I have and the ticket is a Tim Holtz one. The shaped mini tag says Journey of Art and I attached a Penny farthing charm to the silver threaded tie. I 'coloured' in all the windows and doors with glossy accents and backed my tag with more green card. Hope you like. I love the tags I have seen so far - visiting more this evening.
See you back here next week? Excellent :0) **Hugs** Mo x

  4. I love, love, love your tag, so I'm not surprised your little man nabbed it. Although you have various patterns going on, your composition is very cohesive with your brilliant use of color. Blessings!
