The Swinging Sixties.

Hi you all!
It was fun seeing all the tags with gates and portals etc last week, and astonishing what a wide variety of ideas were shown. I am sure this will be a fun week, too, with Swinging Sixties.
The sixties were for me a time which spanned my last years at school, a year 'abroad' in Israel and the USA, studying,  starting a family and my first job as a teacher.
I have made a tag reminding me of some of the things I loved at this time - the warm, fun colours, the wish for peace, love and harmony, kinky fashions, selling home made paper flowers in 'Petticoat Lane' to earn some pocket money, and of course, the Beatles!

The images and background paper are from Gecko Galz, the 'peace' script has been doodled and then fussy cut.

By the way, I had a mail yesterday from Zue, who has a lot of commitments on the home front just now , and will not be able to play along with us anymore. But she will try to come by and visit us from time to time.

I hope you all have a fun-filled week, take care and thanks for coming by!

  3. Valerie the long legged girl was what fashion was so about! Lots of arguments with teachers about the length of our uniforms I remember. I love all your additions and layering and absolutely perfect colours!

  4. Julie, we had to kneel on the floor and if our clothes didn't touch it, they were too short!
