Mother and child

A couple of years ago I found a wonderful photo taken in one of those photo booths of a mother and child; because the mother is older, many people who saw it said they thought it was a grandmother, or aunt -- not a mother.  Well, I was an older mom myself, so I do not feel it is out of the realm of possibility that this is truly the mom:
I used a piece of scrap book paper with the phrase, Do You Remember? as the base for this tag; some of the embellishments are washi tape, vintage wall paper, mother of pearl buttons in different shades, string and antique quilt pieces.
And of course -- that mom and sweet baby!
On the back, I chose a tongue-in-cheek phrase from a page of an old womens' magazine.  I love hanging out here on the Tag Tuesday blog; thanks for playing along!

  7. Such a lovely vintage feel to your tag Laurie and I'm with you, she could well be the child's mother. Vintage photos often make people look older than they really were I think.
    A beautifully layered tag.
