Wings

I wanted to try for a clean and simples tag this week and so here is my offering in celebration of the dear Bumble Bee, of which I have not seen so many this year. A very worrying trend as the Bee is a precious friend and we will be in dire straits without it! I rescued one that had flown into the conservatory and had became very weak by putting it on a leaf in a saucer of sugar water and carrying outside to my lavender bush. I'm glad to report that it survived after imbibing said sugar water and flew off to join its family!

Wild Honey distress ink, one bumble bee stamp, honeycombe stamp, ribbon, torn paper, dictionary text, dyed paper punched flower, gold pearl and stained ribbon at top. About as simple as I can go, I usually go for overloaded! I shall look and comment on all your lovely wings when I get in from work, thanks for your comments on mine last week. Have a great week. x

  1. What a lovely celebration of the Bumble Bee Barb.
You tag is lovely in it's simplicity. I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who rescues creatures great and very small too! We will be in a great deal of trouble if the reduction of bees continues at it's present alarming pace.

  5. A wonderful tag and a great subject to chose. You will be pleased to know that we have had lots of bumble bees in our small garden this year which has resulted in wonderful vegetable crops

  11. It's simply beautiful, and very elegant as well. I heard that the bee population was going down, which is a very worrisome situation in deed. Not only do I think they're gorgeous creatures and love their honey, but they are essential to many ecosystems around the world. Blessings, my friend!
