Autumn

A few months ago a very dear blog friend, Carolyn, sent me a parcel with some fabulous Autumn coloured fabrics and yarn. I have been making Autumnal gifts with them and decided that I would use one of the fabrics on this weeks challenge as it had drawings of scarecrows and pumpkins on it.

I cut the scarecrow and another pumpkin from the fabric. Then I took the base tag, embossed some corn from a large stamp and then used blues and oranges distress inks over the top. Then I stuck down the scarecrow with glue and seal. The leaves I punched and coloured from different scraps and I found an acorn and an ear of corn in my stash. Isn't he jolly! I love Autumn,  it is my favourite season of the year. I am looking forward to seeing all your tags this week that's for sure! Hugs one and all. x

  1. Good Morning Barb,
How very exciting, I am the first to get a chance to tell you how very cute this tag is. Your little scarecrow is adorable and I love how you added that little sprig of wheat and the acorn. The soft muted colors are a pleasant change from all the orange and black that we are seeing right now . . . "Charming", that's the word I'm looking for :)
    Keep Smiling,
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)
