All Stitched Up

Hi Everyone!
I hope you have all had a good week. Last week's tags were great as usual. I am learning such a lot about techniques and developing ideas from Tag Tuesday.
My tag this week is All Stitched Up, but I set myself a challenge of a stitched tag without a single stitch on it!
I have been waiting for an opportunity to use my dressmaking stamps, so I got them out and had a lot of fun playing with them. They are the dress on the dressmaker's dummy, the pattern pieces and the "Quilting and Plain Sewing " sign. I coloured these in with my new Promarker pens-they are fab!( Oh and they were a bargain too!). The sewing machine is an image from The Graphics Fairy, also coloured in. This reminds me of my great-grandfather and great aunts who all  worked for Singer Sewing machines.  The Coats' Sewing Cottons sign is a rubbing from a paperknife which belonged to my grandfather, who worked for J & P Coates, and we always had sewing cottons of every hue in the house. (No change there, then!) For the background I made a rubbing of some hessian fabric, which was rough and rubbed easily, giving a great texture. To finish off, I photographed my tag on a cushion I hand stitched from some old shirts. I hope you like my homage to the stitching side of my family, no doubt that a love of fabric and creation is in my blood!
I have added a couple of close ups, but I think you should be able to click on the image and enlarge it.
