Kings and Queens

Thank you to everyone who left wonderful comments on my tag post last week--always lovely to read them and to visit all the other blogs as well.

This week I let my mind run riot for my tag subject

I used a pack of cards.

The tag is based on the fact that Spades face in the opposite direction to all of the other picture cards. So because, I imagine, they must all be fed-up of seeing just the back of their partners head I let the Spades King and Queen and two others escape for afternoon tea. They had to cover their crowns to avoid detection. Must have been good to chat face to face to with others. Now you know I am completely crazy :)

Look forward to seeing what everyone else makes

  4. Now I will be looking at a card pack Chrissie.
Without a doubt I am sure many people want a disguise from time to time - I'm loving that at the moment I have radically changed my hair - not being recognised by some in my small town is indeed very liberating.
Love your concept and your arty tag!

  5. I LOVE your whimsical take on the traditional kings and queens of a set of playing cards. Those hats to help them remain incognito are too cool. Blessings!
