Winter Landscape

Happy New Year!
I want to thank all of you for the feedback, inspiration, and new skills that you have given to me during 2013. This was a great year of growth for me as an artist and this group was a large part of this. That growth may not always be evident in my tags, and my skills are still very uneven, but my skill as a painter and as a quilter and fabric artist grew exponentially. I wish all of you inspiration, growth and blessings in your personal lives during 2014.
Here is my winter landscape. It is a painting on the back of a piece of clear film - painting backwards was interesting! After painting, I sprayed it with Tim Holtz white paint to give it the effect of snowing. Next, I cut and applied old wallpaper to create a snow bank and then I backed it with blue paper. I edged it with white sparkly glitter and a white grosgrain ribbon. Last, I drew on a few snowflakes.
