AUSTRALIA

Bonjour everyone!

Great to be back with you.  I'm feeling a lot better - thanks to all of you who sent me kind messages.

My Australia shaped tag was cut on my craft robo and I decorated it in aboriginal style with Promarkers.  I used to love doing this style of art with the children when I was teaching - they used to go through tons of ear buds to make the dots with paint!!  I find the meaning of the symbols used quite fascinating.  I also cut the kangaroos and the lizard/gecko (?) on the robo, then added some twine for the tie.  Can't wait to see what you've all done.

A bientot

  6. Good on you for sharing Australia's stories and symbols with your students. The Dreamtime stories are wonderful in both their simplicity and strong environmental messages.
