MAPS, CHARTS and DIAGRAMS

Hi All, I chose an aerial map of Michigan showing the effect of the Arctic Vortex on my tag today.  Michigan is known as the "Mitten" state because our shape resembles a mitten.  Most Michiganders will point to a spot on their hand to show you exactly where in Michigan they live.  We have had so much snow here this year that the form of the mitten is badly distorted by the Great lakes being frozen over the land.  Below is a better shot of what we should look like.

That's it, I had fun trying to come up with an idea for this one.  All of you are so clever I knew I could not get away with just a pretty background of a map unless it had some meaning, lol.  Thank you for your encouraging comments and thanks for looking.  ~Diane
