Autumn Extravaganza

When I think of autumn, I go right to the vibrant colors in my yard and gardens. I am busy picking the last of the tomatoes, herbs, and squash and finishing up my canning. The zinnias and other cutting flowers are still full of pinks and purples and there are enough to make bouquets.
And that's how this tag was born. The other day I had a big gelli plate printing session, and painted a lot of craft tags.

I loved the purples in this one, and after adding a couple of embellishments, a cute Unity stamp, and some ribbons on top I was done. I do love having this stack of gellied tags to play with now! Have a lovely week. Hugs.  --Sandy Leigh

I'm in trouble though. I had not heard of gelli printing and looked up a video. Oh my. Fun, fun, fun.

  6. Oh Sandie I love Zinnias....sometimes we put them in but the humidity gets them every time. Your lovely tag reminds me that I must play more with my Gelli Plate...but I won't be canning LOL!

  9. That gelli print really does make a beautiful background for your tag and I love the mason jar - I've been up to my eyes in preserves as well, makes me feel all old-fashioned housewife kind of happy! :o)
