Blues and Browns

Blue and brown together - one of my favorite color combinations! I dug through my stash and came up with the following tag.
The tag is covered with patterned paper with the edges inked brown. I added a brown polka dotted border, also inked in brown. I really like making paper dolls of all kinds - my girl this time has a large round tag for her body. The tag is tea stained and I added blue rubons. I stamped the girl's legs, arms and head onto old ledger paper with brown ink and fussy cut the pieces, which were then glued to the tag body.
I added a small blue button to the center of a brown fabric flower. (The flower is a lovely shade of brown in real life, but photographed very dark on the tag.) Finally, I tied light blue seam binding ribbon to the top of the tag.
I hope everyone has an awesome day! Thank you for all the nice comments on my tags. I really enjoy seeing all your wonderful tags each week.

  5. Tea stained...perfect choice for this tag. I wondered how you created the pattern on the round tag...then I read the post! It's elegant...and the doll is so cute.
