Blues and Browns

I've learned to love blue and brown together after experimenting with Bister.  No Bister here, though. I created the background of the tag with Distress Inks (Salty Blue, Mermaid Lagoon, Walnut Stain, and Frayed Burlap), applying the inks to a craft mat and then spritzing with water before dragging the tag through the mix.

I spritzed the tag with Luminarte's Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist before attaching a large flourish die cut from blue cardstock.  The flowers are from Petaloo and that beautiful butterfly is a Prima creation.  The brown metal embellisments are from My Mind's Eye.

The final step was to spritz the gold Shimmering Mist over the entire tag.
I'm truly enjoying seeing others' tags and creating my own!
