White Space

The only colour worse than white is pink, so I always find these themes hard. I've been wanting to do something around a violin for ages. This is as good as opportunity as any. I cut out a violin (or viola) outline on my Silhouette, stuck it on top of more white card and cut a tag shape from that sandwich. Added some pearls and gold-edged parchment quilling strips around the edge. Metallic pen strings, white chiffon. Ended up with a wedding look. Oh well, can't win 'em all   :)

I pierced the hole with a dirty awl and had to hide the sin with gold stars  :D

  1. Very elegant tag, and really cleverly made - the stars give it that added extra! Hugs, Valerie

  3. Very pretty Zoe. I love the violin cutout! This week is definitely going to be a challenge for me too. I love color, so I'm going to have to keep slapping my hand away when I reach for a color, but I'm up for the challenge! :)

  6. It's interesting to read what some crafters find difficult to work with...personally, I love both white and pink. This is a wonderfully creative application of the theme, and the gold is a beautiful accent.
