Night Sky

Mama Bear and Baby

Hi tag friends! Thanks for all the very kind words last week!  This week I have two cards, both on 8x4 chipboard again. I used a vintage star chart for my sky and Christmas text under the snow, which is painted, embossed and then clear crackled for an icy effect. I borrowed the mama bear and the fox from current children's literature and mounted them on chipboard too.  Icicles are die cut from chipboard using a cottage cutz die, then painted and embossed with white. Skates and chit chat words are Tim Holtz.

Arctic Fox

I had some ribbon and tinsel in my stash along with some silver and white millinery baubles. I finished off with stickles for sparkle.  This was a fun theme!

  5. This is gorgeous! I love all the elements--the star chart, how you made the snow, etc. To answer your question on my Santa tag from last week, the snow embossing folder I used is Tim Holtz Alterations for Sizzix. It's called "Snowfall" and comes in a two pack with tiny trees.
