Heroes/Heroines

Hi All. Hope your week has gone well. We have had a couple of days with sunshine so it was nice to see that sun still exists after all the rain for so long.

Must admit I was a bit stuck with the theme this week and my tag is a bit lack lustre-Sorry.

I have always been a fan of Robin Hood and went to Nottingham and took this photograph of a statue of Robin there. I printed it on canvas and coloured parts in Lincoln Green. There seems to be all sorts of versions of Lincoln Green when I Googled it.

Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his band of men Feared by the bad, loved by the good Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood

Have a great week

Love Chrissie xx

  1. I love your tag! Robin was cool. I also remember the Monty Python version of the Robin Hood song :) I know what you mean about Lincoln green - there's even quilling paper in that colour and the shade varies according to brand. Have a great week.

  2. Hi Chrissie - Good choice of hero...I know you say 'lacklustre" but I think it's great - I think you got that aged image look just right!

  3. Great choice! Robin Hood was one of my childhood heroes - I had a beautiful book of his adventures with the most divine colourplate illustrations. Unfortunately it got lost in the mists of time! Lovely tag!
