Rust??? That's what I asked myself when I first saw our tag theme for this week. Although I have some rusty items, because I'm somewhat of a junker, vintage, and antique collector, I was truly baffled. I have some rusty metal sheet that I purchased a while back, so I thought about cutting out a shape for a tag. However, I just couldn't get into it.

After much thought and deliberation, I decided to make a rusty wire heart. I began by forming the heart shape and doing some wrapping to give it some dimension. Next, I made a traditional origami heart shape. I also cut a small label and wrote the word "Love" on it. I slipped in the latter two items between the wrapped wire form. I finished the tag by adding a strip of organza ribbon to the top and tying a vintage key to it.
I am dedicating this tag to my lovely wife, Lisa, whom I know is a blessing from God (James 1:17). Her continuous love and support, are one of my greatest inspirations. I also want to thank Carolyn for keeping me thinking out of the box. Now, I'm off to see everyone's tags. Blessings!
I love your sweet tags, Arnoldo. They would tuck into my Bible so perfectly. I hope that they're a blessing to you, or to whomever you're giving them to. Great idea with a whole lot of inspiration and thought into them. Your creativity pushes me. You've actually inspired me this last week to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. You are a blessing always, so thanks so much for sharing.
