Bonjour! I present to you my "Jolie Femme" (Pretty Woman). (I hope I translated that properly, since my French is very limited. LOL!) I've had my eye on Tim Holtz's phrenology stamp for quite some time. However, I rarely ever buy stamps, because I don't use them much. As a matter of fact, I recently gave away 3 sets of brand new stamps to a friend, since I had them stashed in a box for years. However, I got some cash for Father's Day and decided to use it to purchase the set with this image in it. I have no regrets! There are so many possibilities for me to use it, so you'll probably be seeing it around.

Anyway, after stamping my image on white cardstock, I colored it with pastels, markers, and an ink pad. Then, I highlighted the eyes and lips with Ranger's Glossy Accents and Stickles respectively. I designed her hat with origami pieces I made, along with various K&Company die-cuts. As a finishing touch, I used glue and ArtC heart glitter to design her earrings and necklace. The tag background is an extra one I made a while back when working on one of my Tim Holtz inspired tags. I attached the completed head to the background with adhesive pads. To complete my tag, I added a TH pen nib and a small label with my own calligraphy.
Thank you for taking the time to write such thoughtful comments about my coffee tag two weeks ago. I made sure to reciprocate the favor by leaving a comment on your tags or blog as well. Au revoir!
