Diamonds are forever

Hi Everybody!

Thanks to all who entered our last challenge, much appreciated.
Our new challenge this week  is being hosted by by our very talented Wilma who has chosen a fun theme.
Here she is to tell you all about it:

"When I chose this theme, "Diamonds are Forever", I was thinking of a wedding anniversary soon. My first tag is of a couple of barn owls, who I believe, choose a mate for life. The tag has been made by transferring a photo of the owls onto text with a blender marker, with added "diamonds", a water-colour moon and the word forever".

My second tag interprets the theme in a more traditional way. I read in a magazine a lot of quotes from people who had been married for a long time, and I wanted to use some of those words.

On this tag I included a fun vintage couple obviously "in love" - perhaps he is just about to "pop the question". The card frame is decorated with those same stick on "diamonds"

I apologise that these tags are such simple ones, as I was a bit rushed for time. I only returned home yesterday from a week of teaching workshops in Victoria (about 1200 km from home)
I am sure you will all create much more exciting tags for this theme - an opportunity to play with  bling! Have fun!"

I am sure we all love a bit of bling. So grab those glittering gem-stones
and let your creative juices flow. As always, tags of all formats are allowed, and we look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.

Valerie

    1. I am very sorry I missed out on visiting everyone this fortnight but I have been away from home and internet access has not always been available. I take your criticism and will try to rectify this omission this week now that I am back. I can only ask that sometimes you might be a little more understanding...

    2. If any participants have anything to complain about it would show good manners to do it by name and not as a cowardly, anonymous comment. For this reason I have now removed the 'anonymous' possibility from the comment list.

  8. Thanks everyone, for joining in the challenge. I was very upset by the previous comment - I apologise to all for not acknowledging your beautiful creative tags before this. My life is just busy at the moment, with lots of travelling away from home and personal family issues so Tag Tuesday has not been a priority for my time at the moment. I have tried to keep my commitment to the team by preparing tags for my turn in the challenges but some weeks I admit I may not get back to the blog site for a week or more. Any way, I am sorry for the neglect, but congratulations one and all, you not only met the challenge - you raised the bar!
