birds

I missed the last two weeks as I was not well and also PC crashed and was away for ages being repaired.
This week's theme is out of my comfort zone, time was going on and I didn't know what to do.
Then this morning a lovely book came by post - 'scandinavian needlecraft' by
Clare Youngs.
Ideas! As TAST challenge this week is Running Stitch I combined both challenges with these little felt birds.
The top one will be added to my narrow TAST Sampler,
the one at the bottom will be backed with card, have a ribbon added and it will be a tag.
As they say "Two birds killed with one stone"!
And an enjoyable afternoon's stitching as well - things are looking up! Connie.

  7. These are lovely, Connie! The blue and yellow work well together. I have this book and really like the simplicity of style. I made some Christmas tree decorations- a lady, a shoe and a horse from the book and liked the finished result.
