Canadian Snow
Here is my FIRST tag for 2012 - thanks so much Carolyn for sponsoring. My parents immigrated to Canada in January of 1957 (a two week journey by ship over the Atlantic, can you imagine!).
I think this is a wonderful picture of my Mum bundled up for the snowy weather (and looking chic I might add). The background is scrapbook paper that I also lightly stamped. I printed the photo on to the paper. The snow definition came from an old dictionary - I used gesso to make it less "yellow". Other embellishments include wool and buttons. The bottom edge was created using a special paper punch. Enjoy! Jewels
