Hi everyone,
I did two tags this week, because I wasn't very happy with the first one! I have tried to give an impression of lace as well as use lace. As I am a lace-maker I know how much effort and time goes into making the smallest piece of lace and so I always have some difficulty cutting it up.
On the first tag I used a lace printed background, skeleton leaf and handmade lace with butterfly motif. I also added some antique paper that had holes punched out to give a lacy feel.
On the second tag I used a glassine envelope and a British stamp with a dragonfly on it (with it's beautiful lace-like wings). I pierced holes in the envelope to give a lacy feel to it, and added some little strips of handmade lace that was already cut up.
I loved all the vintage tags last week and can't wait to see what delights are going to be posted this week.
This is so pretty. Well done.
