My snowflake tag!

I used watercolour paper, with a wash and water colour paints over snowflakes drawn with a candle we'd been burning at Christmas. I also added salt to lift out the colour. You can't have a snowflake without glitter so I used silver pens and glitter glue. I wanted my tag to be round, like a snowflake and to have pinked edges. My shears definitely will need to be sharpened now!

  11. Ingenious!! A really lovely idea for your tag ... the shape, the pinking, the wax crayon and paints with salt ... all wonderful. Can tell you had fun making this! Yes you can't have a snowy tag without glitter or silver or something sparkly of some kind x
