SNOW

Using a blended paper and gessoed background,

I tinted the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink

and then used Rock Candy Stickles round the edge to

make it crusty and crunchy.

I found the bird image in an old book

and thought I'd have them pecking at little sparkles,

although officially they are 'seeking beech-mast'.
