Snow

I'm delighted to be able to take part in this challenge.
Fun times ahead I think!

Here is my first tag:

I wanted to try and make it look like an old photograph, so I inked the tag with pumice stone and old paper distress ink. The tree is stamped with walnut stain and is in fact two different stamps to build up the right amount of branches. I then embossed the snowflakes with clear powder and made the snow in front with snow cap dabber which gives it a texture that is not seen too well in the photograph. The die cut snowflakes were sprayed with dark brown colour stain and edged with picket fence stickles and then a rusty metal snowflake was added for balance. The tag is tied with a piece of white chiffon.
