White

Here are some pictures of this week's tag. I had a bit of trouble with the editing last week, so just have to get it right first time today!
I enjoyed the challenge of a white tag. I love texture (my blog is www.texturetrail.blogspot.com ) and was glad of the opportunity to use the texture of one colour, white.

For the background I used some Indian textured paper. I made a stitched piece using haberdashery ribbon (straw I think) as the base and offset this rectangle at an angle on top of the textured paper. The stitched piece is made of layers of tulle and tissue paper joined together with cross stitch and running stitch in white embroidery thread, topped with some flowery lace. A lace frame finishes it off.
