A word about tags

I just wanted to have a word about tags
to remind you that you can use tags
of any shape, size or colour for this challenge

and also that you can recycle and use tags
that have been attached to new clothing or other items
by painting them or covering with nice papers/card

if you don't have any tags at all
you can make your own by cutting a tag shape
out of nice paper or thin card

punch a hole at the top and thread with
string, fancy yarns, ribbon or lace

if you like you can make your own tags in any shape

I cut a tall triangle for a tree shape and made these tags
from collage and paint ... they just need a hole and a ribbon

another idea are these pads of tag pages that can be bought
from some craft and paper shops

this pad here is by K & Company

they are already tag shaped and made from thin card
already printed up with different designs
that make good backgrounds

The reason I am posting this is because you don't need to spend a fortune on this challenge. Making your own tags, using what papers you've already got, recycling and using found objects to decorate your tags are all to be encouraged and recommended

I, for one, plan to use only what I already have for this challenge
