As I love reading this was a tricky choice for me, but this week's tag is based on WWI
as there are so many wonderful books, plays and films on the subject which I love.
I just want to mention Goodby to All That by Robert Graves; A Deafening by Frances Itani; Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks; A Long Long Way by Sebastian Barry and the excellent Regeneration trilogy by Pat Barker for novels. Plays: Journey's End by R. C. Sherriff, WarHorse by Michael Morpurgo and Oh What a Lovely War.
I have embroidered a Book Mark this week with a recycled poppy from a tablecloth, and other
emblems of the war such as a cross, barbed wire, date and significant words.
Many thanks for lovely comments, so enjoying all the contributions every week,
very best wishes, Valerie R.
What a really moving tag, beautifully done. I love your reading list! Xx
