HEARTS

HEART OF DAISIES

I think I mustbe yearning for Spring.Even though Nature hasn’t provided the real thing yet, Ithought a heart of daisies would bring some early Spring colour to a dullFebruary, rather than sticking to the traditional red/pink that comes to mind when youthink of hearts and valentines. I amplanning for daisies to be a bit of a recurrent feature throughout the Februarythemes.

For this tag Ihave used scrapbook paper for the grass and made daisies using a paperpunch. I have sewn a yellow bead to thecentre of each daisy. The tassel at the top is made with ribbon and coordinatingthreads, and I have made a beaded fringe at the bottom.
It has been areal treat to be in such creative company with this group. Well done to everyone for all your beautifulposts and Thank You for all the lovely comments you have made on my tags. I am having such fun!

Have a lovelyweek,
Jane xx

  8. It reminds me of the song, "I'll give you a daisy a day dear; I'll give you a daisy a day. I'll love you until the rivers run still and the full moon above fades away. So sweet and I love the beading at the bottom, too!
