Hello folks, Jane in Berkshire here!
When I started thinking about Hearts , I couldn't get the song Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri out of my head. I imagined a jar of differently coloured hearts, maybe made of glass. I couldn't figure out a way of making it, so here is a heart filled with hearts.
I found I had some printed cardboard hearts of different colours, ready for doodling on, so that is what I did, made patterns with gold, silver and white gel pen. I stuck them onto a heart made from card ( drawing round a small cake tin for the shape), then mounted it onto dark pink cards, and finished off with a pink ribbon from a clothes tag. I photographed it on top of some sheet music which belonged to my mum .
This is what I started out with.
Great heart tags everyone ! I am really enjoying looking at everyone's work. There is so much variety.
You've put a lot of work into this - it's lovely!
