more hearts

time permitting ... I thought I might, from time to time, share some of the tags made by the artists that are playing along on their own blogs. There is a list of these artists on the blog sidebar if you want to visit their blogs and see their tags where they explain in more detail how the tags were constructed

so this one is from Carol of Fuzzie Fingers

Carol painted the tag with acrylic paint and stained it with a tea bag. The heart is tyvek and organza which she stitched together with free hand machine embroidery and melted with a heat gun. Beneath the heart is a layer of crumpled brown paper and gold foil fused together with painted bondaweb. At the bottom she stamped the words' TATTERED HEART' and overlayed them with a piece of organza

Anne's tag
this tag was made by Anne of Anne's Corner and the Love Heart 'sweetie' was made by Anne from very pale pink Fimo, in a home-made mould

Fiona's tag
this tag was made by Fiona (Textile Addict) using calligraphy designs with beads sewn into the heart

Gwyneth's tag
and Gwyneth (Textile Queenie) made this tag using a photo from an old newspaper ... as she says she felt there was more to this couple than meets the eye

Kim's tag
Kim's tag was made with monoprints cut up into pieces and made into a collage and decorated with a sterling silver heart

thank you all for playing along with Tag Tuesday ♥
