Poetry and Prose

I love the romance and the tragedy of Tennyson's Lady of Shalott, and I wanted to combine the poem with the Pre-Raphaelite painting by Waterhouse, which I saw recently in Tate Britain.
I decided to make a tag shaped like a locket, which would open to reveal the poetry inside.
I embossed a piece of silver miri card for the front of the locket, and then I added a verse from the poem, and the image of the Lady on the inside. I used an old earring for the clasp, and a broken necklace for the chain.
I look forward to everyone else's tag each Tuesday .... and I'm still constantly blown away by the quality of the work!
