Proudly standing with my vintage pop-up Valentine cards
Here is my Valentine's Day offering. I was inspired by my Victorian card collection and challenged myself to make a pop-up card. Nothing too frilly or gushy to give to my honey, Fred. I'm very pleased. My Palmer Cox brownie stamp has been put to good use. He was stamped on my paper work surface where I had been doodling. So he became my focus. Once I got the mechanical part of the card done (that was really the challenge), I embellished with the tissue and parts of a paper doily on my work table and stamped the bottom. What a lovely card - I love the little stamped image and also they way you displayed it against the other cards to photograph it - very effective. Hope he likes it!
