Valentine's Day

I had no idea this week what I might do for the Valentine's Day tag so I started by having a much needed tidy up of my workdesk.

I'm terrible for keeping absolutely everything in case it might come in handy and I found a red paint covered wipe left over from a recent Journal Page which got me thinking. I distressed it with a heat gun which shrinks the wipe to the approximate size of my tag. I embellished it with various beady bits and bobs and a couple of wired tyvek beads and I added petersham ribbon with the wording.

The heat gun had turned the red paint a bit orangey, so I added a little more red paint here and there, glued the whole thing to a red painted tag and added a bit of skinny ribbon to finish. I'm quite pleased with the result.

I'm loving all the gorgeous Valentine's Day tags. Have a fab week everyone. Gigha x
